No monitors are equal especially nowadays cheap screens that push the colors and contrast to give you a “pleasant” photo. But a pleasant photo on your screen is not a correct photo: Most screens saturate color and contrasts to give you this pleasant look. So you wont need to correct your photos much to have “nice” photos. But its not true. When you will print your photos or display it on a neutral screen you will get low contrast, bad colors without saying WRONG colors.
